Hogyan Működik a PDLC Technológia?
The technology is based on PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal), a liquid crystal dispersed in a polymer. This special film contains liquid crystals sealed between two conductive layers and can be retrofitted to any existing glass surface.
- Off (OFF – Private): Without electricity, the liquid crystals are disordered. In this state, light is refracted through them, so the glass opalescent (milk white) and opaque. This ensures discretion for negotiations or medical examinations.
- On (ON – Transparent): An electric current causes the crystals to arrange themselves in a row and light passes through them unhindered. The glass immediately water purification becomes.

Smart foil is not only spectacular, it also makes money. Blocks 99% of UV radiation and a significant proportion of infrared (heat) radiation 2, drastically reducing the load on the air conditioner in summer. As the figure below shows, the initial investment pays off in the long run through reduced cooling costs and UV protection of the furniture. Its consumption is negligible: only 5-7 watts per m² (in transparent mode only), which is less than the consumption of a single LED bulb.

Will the glass be completely transparent?
A characteristic of liquid crystal technology is a minimal “haze” (haze), which can be noticeable when viewed from the side. We work exclusively with premium, “Low-Haze” films, which provide perfect transparency when viewed from the front.

Our system can be integrated into wall switches, remote controls or even smart home systems (e.g. Loxone, Tuya, Google Home).
